Hello everyone!
My name is Paula Benettova and I have been working as a guide for 25 years.

My interest in art history and history in general began at a young age. I studied art history and theater studies at Masaryk University in Brno. Because I love historical music too, I attended a special program involving three years of studying opera directing at the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. During my subsequent Doctoral studies, I researched and wrote about Baroque theaters at castles in the Czech lands. Part of my doctoral studies was passing exams in Italian and German language.

I enjoy learning history, art, theater and foreign languages, so working as a guide allows me to combine all my interests in one job!

For about 20 years I also work for the State Castle and Chateau of Český Krumlov.
